If you have never been nude before in “public”, you may be a little nervous about the idea. Don’t worry, most people feel the same way their first time. At Maple Glen we try very hard to make you feel comfortable. You are free to take our little first time-escorted tour of the club dressed, and then take your time to undress and get comfortable.
Why not visit us and be introduced to the lifestyle in a friendly and non-threatening environment.
If it is any help please click on the below hyperlink to read these few thoughts from a single 34 year old female who experienced naturism and Maple Glen for the first time last season.
Maple Glen first timer report.
You will probably find that a nudist club is not what you thought it might be. The people here are friendly, but not overbearing or pushy. We are all here just to relax, socialize and have fun. Some people want to talk and socialize, others just want to relax by themselves and read a good book. It doesn’t matter, it’s up to you to do what you want to do. As you can tell by the facilities listed on our site, there are lots of things to do at Maple Glen.
A few rules of general nudity etiquette:
Generally (although not always) women seem to have more trouble than men with nudity their fist time in public. There are a number of different reasons such as general modesty, the fear of not having a “perfect body” and the possibility of unwanted advances. After the first visit, all of these fears usually go away. At Maple Glen you will see men and women of all ages, sizes, and shapes. No one cares what you look like, they are more interested in who you are. Since everyone is nude, there is no reason for you to be embarrassed.
The relaxation that you will feel at Maple Glen is the result of one of the healthiest trends of our times – accepting ourselves for who we are and feeling comfortable with our own bodies. Experiencing who you are inside is more important that what you show on the outside. As nude recreation becomes more openly accepted in our society, more and more women are discovering what it is really like.

At Maple Glen we monitor behaviour, not status. Basically everyone with good judgment and good manners is welcome at Maple Glen but because Maple Glen is a smaller member owned club, we require that first time visitors plan their visit to Maple Glen on a weekend when there are sufficient members present to ensure that your first visit with us is a most enjoyable one. All visitors will be asked to fill out a registration form and provide a picture ID on their first visit, immediately upon entering the grounds. The rates for a single person are the same as for a couple. The management reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone at anytime. A club member will give visitors a guided tour of our facilities.
After 3 visits admittance to our club will be by membership only at which time grounds fees spent will be applied to the cost of the membership. As a member of Maple Glen you will have all of the rights and privileges accorded to every member of Maple Glen.
We do require however that you call ahead or e-mail us your intention to visit Maple Glen.
